Top 10 plugins and how to use them

Today, 30th August 2012, I am developing a presentation for WordUp Pompey! ( Rowlands Castle, Hants, UK ). The presentation takes the form of a website… THIS website.  It takes a look at the top 10 most popular plugins that you can download from WordPress.org

By taking a snapshot of the total downloads from the top 30 or so plugins listed by visiting WordPress Plugins > Most Popular I created a list of candidates on the 14th August. Now, 16 days later, I took another snapshot and have selected the Top 10 to be those with the highest average download rate. Other ways of measuring top 10-ness are listed elsewhere.

So, if you were unable to attend WordUp Pompey! in person and want to find out more about these plugins then start viewing the presentation now.

Take me to the start of the presentation
