Caveat

Since I started the analysis the total displayed on wordpress.org/plugins reached: 1,115,557,720… 41,798 plugins on the 13th December. Today (20th December). it’s 41,977 plugins with 1,124,309,632 downloads. Not quite sure where the extra 80 million comes from. Perhaps there are two clones Akismet!
