On 1st Jan 2020, there were 55,134 plugins on wordpress.org, when I performed my extract; an increase of 72 since the last week. Three plugins have now reached over 150 million downloads: Akismet, Jetpack and WordPress SEO. Five over 100 million.
There are no changes in the top 12.
