The top 12 WordPress plugins by total downloads for 19th April 2022 follows.
- Wordfence has moved up to 3rd position, Akismet is now 4th
- WP Forms Lite is approaching 100 million total downloads.
- 15% of the plugins updated this year haven’t been tested with WordPress 5.9
- 76 plugins already report they’ve been tested with WordPress 6.0… due for release on 24th of May.
