- It’s in the top 10 list of most downloaded plugins
- Top 12 actually
- determined from the latest extract from wordpress.org
In 2012 very popular was determined by a different method.
- one of the first 30 plugins listed by visiting WordPress Plugins & Most Popular on 14th August 2012.
- with a new “total downloads” taken on 30th August 2012
- calculate the average downloads per day
- order by average descending
- It’s in the top 10
